The Grape Vine by Dianne Firth

From seed to plant, to stenciled home decor.
Early American stenciling of flowers and leafy vines were popular in the period from 1820 to 1840. After 1840, home spun cottons and muslin became more affordable. This modern variation was based on a Grape Vine border from a quilt, circa 1820-1840. Quilt maker unknown.

Techniques: Fabric painting, trapunto, machine quilting, embellished
