Disintegration by Judi MacLeod

$125

The life of a seed is first it gets planted, then the plant grows, blooms, then dies back. The end is the disintegration of the leaves and stems. It goes back to the earth, but the seeds are spread by the wind and the life cycle begins again.

Techniques: I used some cotton that I rusted, then machine stitched and embellished with tiny beads to simulate the seeds.
